22nd of August seen 2 of our teams in tournament action.
The u16's played at Aston Park finishing runners up to
Johnstown loosing out on penalties, whilst
the u9 Vipers travelled to Whiston (Liverpool) again
finishing runners up. The final against Moston ended 1 - 1
so went to penalty's still the teams couldn't be separated
until the dreaded sudden death. Unfortunately Vipers
lost out but this was a great effort by each player.
To get to the final in a Liverpool tournament is a massive
achievement so a big well done to you all.

Vipers win playoff
Just a week since Vipers
defeat to Mold in the Challenge Cup Final the 2 teams locked
horns again in a playoff to decide this years league
champions. Vipers came out all guns blazing hitting
the post and crossbar in the first 10 minutes before going
ahead with a great strike by Liam Walker. The score stayed at 1 - 0 until
the second half when Vipers took full control scoring
another 3 goals, one a superb free kick by J.J. Congratulations to the Vipers on becoming League Champions. added 19 May 2011

A disappointing week for
the club saw our U15 Vipers lose 4 - 2 to Mold Jnrs in the

u16's in their final game for Buckley Town J.F.C .

again in a League champions playoff to be played Wednesday
18th May at Halkyn. added 15 May 2011

first leg lee Jones gave them a 1 - 0 lead on the night
before Borras equalised with a penalty in the second half.
Borras then got a second before Daniel Brunning brought the
scores level. With time running out Borras scored a

Unlucky girls loose NEWFA
Cup Final
Buckley u14 girls were
narrowly defeated in The NEWFA Cup final by Brickfield
Rangers. In a close fought game Brickfields took the
lead midway through the first half. Buckley continued
to battle and were unlucky to have a goal wiped out for off
side in the second half. With only minutes to go
Brickfields were awarded a penalty which was saved well by
Amber. This was a very good performance by Buckley in
a game you didn't deserve to loose. Final score
Brickfield Rangers 1 Buckley 0.

first of our teams to qualify for a cup final this season
after beating Penyfford 7 - 2 in the semi final of the

Village, the winners going through to the Tesco Cup all

U12 'United' win NEWFA Cup
The U12's have followed
in the footsteps of our U16's by winning the NEWFA Cup.
United beat Penycae 2 -1 at Brymbo to clinch the clubs
second trophy in a week. Penycae took the lead after
Goalkeeper Rhys had saved a shot from the Penycae forward
but the ball fell kindly for him to score at the second
attempt. It wasn't long before United equalised,
Kieran putting a great ball through to Joel to finish neatly
into the bottom corner 1 - 1 half time. Into the
second half United kept the pressure on and Joel got his
second converting a penalty won by the impressive Sam Rielly. In all a
excellent and well deserved victory. More pictures
